Here is my first attempt at Glogster. I liked the fact that it's like a pinboard and can upload pics, videos, and sounds. This can be beneficial for students in college who don't have the room for a pinboard and can pin events and share through facebook. Like scrapbooking!

POV on Facebook

I have a facebook and don't really use it as much when I first subscribed to it. The majority of the time on facebook I look over pictures and see what everyone is up to! On black friday there were a lot of deals and only those who had a facebook were able to obtain them. The bullying doesn't effect me. I figure if you're polite and respect yourself and others then bullying wouldn't be a problem. I am happy the police are discovering other ways to catch criminals. Another reason why facebook is beneficial.

Creative Photoshop Project

I used a lot of the techniques I learned in Digital Design. For example I used the magnetic lasso tool to cut out sections from images and layer them on top of the background. I painted the balloons and used a lighter color to make the balloons appear as if the sun is on them. Then I used the Dodge tool to brighten the side of my body that is facing the sun.  The clouds are not from the same New York picture. I cut the clouds from another picture and stretched them out. I added a fade in border using the paint tool and inverse selecting the picture. This was a fun project.

Light Saber w/ Photoshop

Creating the light saber from a yard stick was actually pretty fun. The instructions Edulaunch have become more vague because of our knowledge from previous assignments. The videos definitely helped. I'm a visual learner and seeing the step by step on a Photoshop screen makes the assignment a lot easier to complete.

Landscape on Photoshop

My first attempt to create a landscape using Photoshop. Creating the rainbow was the most difficult part in the landscape. I also forgot to set the feathering on the selected circle for the sun to zero. So the sun now appears fuzzy. A note to remember is when using paint bucket, be sure the shape to be colored is closed. Otherwise, the entire page or other ares will be colored. 

I absolutely love my personal landscape. This time I made sure the sun was not feathered. Fall is coming and my tree is definitely changing colors with the paint tool. I like the paint tool, because there are many options than just painting. The paint tool can also act like a stamp. For example, the leaves was an option in the paint tool.

I wish we had more options but overall this is a cool program! I enjoyed changing the characters voice and laying out the scene. I decided to create the scene because this typically happens in third lunch on chicken nugget day. Might as well animate about it.

PicMonkey Halloween Fun!

PicMonkey is cool! I used this program to create the appearance of a witch. Although since not everything was available to free users it wasn't as cool, but there is a lot that can done with different shades of green. I like how you can save your work and then layer over that. Works great when trying to darken an area.
